Two of Dhing gang rape accused persons found in Nagaland, arrested

The Assam police on September 6 arrested two persons accused in the Dhing gang rape case from Nagaland. The two persons have been identified as one Faridul Islam Khan and a Golap Uddin.

Dimapur, Nagaland, September 7 (HBTV): The Assam police on September 6 arrested two persons accused in the Dhing gang rape case from Nagaland. The two persons have been identified as one Faridul Islam Khan and a Golap Uddin.   

The police had launched a search operation for the two perpetrators accused of involvement in the crime. Reports said Tafazul Islam, the prime accused in the brutal gang rape case of a 14-year-old girl in Nagaon district, was declared dead on August 24 after he attempted to flee police custody by jumping into a nearby pond.     

Islam was arrested on August 23 after an extensive investigation identified him as the third man involved in the gang rape.
