Ri Bhoi, Meghalaya, September 12 (HBTV): Five highway robbers were apprehended by members of the public while the former were attempting to rob a truck.   

The truck was parked near the road in Umnget at Quinnine on National Highway-6 in Ri Bhoi, Meghalaya.    

Residents of the area reportedly came out after being alerted by the truck driver. Later, the alleged robbers were manhandled by the public, and handed over to the police of Nongpoh police station.
