Imphal, Manipur, May 15 (HBTV): Reports received here from Manipur say seven persons including five minors have been arrested for attacking civilians.

The superintendent of police of Imphal West Kshshivkanta Singh informed of attacks by unknown individuals against civilians at Paona Bazar and Thangal Bazar areas at night during the past few days. This was creating fear psychosis among residents of the area. Footage of the incidents are said to have gone viral on social media.      

In this connection, a complaint was registered at City Police Imphal, the official informed. 

The Imphal West police apprehended seven individuals including five minors who were allegedly involved in two incidents from different places of Imphal East and Imphal West districts.

The apprehended individuals have been identified by the police as on L Khumukcham Brainny Singh (19), RK Ronish Singh (22) and five minors.
