Chumoukedima, Nagaland, July 19 (HBTV): An unidentified gunman shot a staff member of a local transport firm on the night of July 18 in Dimapur.   

The man, said to be a staff member of the transport group, was severely injured after being shot at by an 'armed miscreant' at NST Colony. Updates said the individual has been admitted to hospital and out of danger.     

The victim, said to be a member of a transport group called Ankit Transport, was shot in the leg.    

Organisations have expressed condemnation of the shooting and have demanded investigations into the incident.
