Jorhat (Assam) [India], July 19 (HBTV): The Indian Army organised a weapon and equipment display at Mariani Military Station on Friday, PRO Defence said in a press release.

The display drew enthusiastic crowd of school going children of Mariani, Jorhat, Degree College, and National Cadet Corps cadets.

The visitors were thrilled by the impressive showcase of weapons, artillery guns, and state-of-the-art technology of the Indian army inventory. The event also featured interactions of all students with officers and soldiers, providing young minds an insight into military life and inspiring the youth to join the armed forces.   

To commemorate the valiant sacrifice of fallen heroes, a movie on the Kargil War was also screened for the students.
