Guwahati, Assam, June 20 (HBTV): Schools are being flooded in some districts of Assam due to rain since the past few days.

Due to continuous heavy rains, there are reports of water logging in the campus and classrooms of many schools in Goreshwar of Tampur district. Students of some schools and colleges are not able to attend classes. A similar scene is being seen in Goreswar Higher Secondary School, updates on Wednesday said.

A teacher of the school told the media that "This situation has happened due to lack of proper sewerage system in the school."   

The floods have affected various areas of Shingmari, Barphukankhat, Batiamari, and Goreswar town in the Goreswar area.
