Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath meets children affected by food poisoning in Lucknow

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday visited children affected by food poisoning at Lok Bandhu Raj Narayan Combined Hospital in Lucknow.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], April 17 (HBTV): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday visited children affected by food poisoning at Lok Bandhu Raj Narayan Combined Hospital in Lucknow.

During the visit, he went to each child’s bedside and enquired about their well-being. He instructed doctors and officials to ensure proper medical treatment and directed that food be provided according to the children's health requirements.

The children were admitted to Lok Bandhu Hospital on Thursday after their health suddenly deteriorated due to food poisoning. The Chief Minister arrived at the hospital at 10 a.m. to check on the condition of the 16 admitted children. He spoke with the medical staff about their treatment and recovery progress.

CM Adityanath emphasised that there should be no negligence in the treatment and that the children should be discharged only after full recovery. He also instructed officials to make proper arrangements for food and drinking water.

Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Ajay Shankar Tripathi confirmed that 16 children affected by food poisoning had been admitted to the General Male Ward under Ward No. 30. He stated that the condition of all the children is currently normal and that regular monitoring is ongoing.

Also present during the visit were Principal Secretary Sanjay Prasad, Leena Johri, Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Dr Roshan Jacob, District Magistrate Vishakh Ji, Hospital MS Dr Ajay Shankar Tripathi, Dr Saroj, and Dr Rajiv Dixit.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. While addressing the event, he spoke about the functioning of the legislature and explained the process of how laws are passed in the house.

He stated that efforts began in 2019 to promote the objective of the Yuva Sansad — to develop leadership qualities in all spheres of life. He added that more than 240 students from across the state had come to participate in various programs of the event.

'Keeping in mind how to outline the future of youth, work has begun from 2019 to take forward this new resolution of Yuva Sansad with the objective of developing leadership qualities in every sphere of life. My Bharat Abhiyan, on which there has been constant discussion for the last two years, and 240 such youth from across the state who have participated in various competitions are today participating in this program in the largest legislature of any state in the country,' CM Yogi said.
