Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated a new soft drink bottling plant in Ayodhya.

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], March 30 (HBTV): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated a new soft drink bottling plant in Ayodhya.

In his address, CM Yogi praised the ‘double engine’ government, referring to the partnership between the central and state governments under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.

‘Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government has made Ayodhya the country’s first solar city and equipped the plant with solar panels of 15 megawatts that will help reduce carbon emissions and combat global warming,’ he said, emphasizing the government's focus on sustainability and renewable energy sources.

He added that the new soft drink bottling plant is expected to boost local employment, benefiting both the local workforce and meeting the demand for soft drinks in Uttar Pradesh as well as the neighbouring states of Bihar and Uttarakhand.

The inauguration event, attended by several dignitaries, was seen as a major step towards attracting more investments and creating employment opportunities in the region.

Earlier, addressing the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyaan (MYUVA) event, CM Yogi said that law and order in Uttar Pradesh has transformed significantly under BJP rule, stating that the state, which once witnessed ‘riots,’ has now become a hub of festive celebrations, attracting devotees from across the country and the world.

The Chief Minister highlighted that these festive celebrations in cities such as Kashi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, and Chitrakoot have not only promoted cultural heritage but also generated employment opportunities.

‘This is the same Uttar Pradesh where riots used to take place. Today, instead of riots, celebrations are being held across the state. I have seen these festivals in Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Kashi, Gorakhpur, and Chitrakoot—events that have drawn mass gatherings of devotees from across the country and the world for two consecutive months. These celebrations have created new employment opportunities for many,’ he said.

CM Yogi further noted that Uttar Pradesh has witnessed rapid development over the past 10 years.

‘In the last ten years, Uttar Pradesh has followed the pace of heritage and development set by PM Modi and has rapidly grown its economy. This is the same place where earlier the youth used to hide their identity, but today they are setting up their own enterprises. This is the same place where earlier industries were not established, but today new industries are being set up, and our youth are preparing to launch their own businesses,’ he said.

In a veiled attack on the opposition, CM Yogi stated that all the barriers hindering Uttar Pradesh’s development have been removed, allowing the youth to access better employment opportunities.

‘In the last eight years, all the barriers that were hindering the development of Uttar Pradesh have been removed one by one. Today, the youth of UP are getting jobs, becoming self-employed, and investments are flowing into the state. Major development projects are underway, and by integrating development and growth, the new Uttar Pradesh of new India is working with full commitment for its farmers, its people, and the economic self-reliance of the youth,’ he said.
