UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to inspect Maha Kumbh projects

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to inspect the progress of ongoing projects in Prayagraj related to the Maha Kumbh and attend the convocation of Allahabad University.

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), November 27 (HBTV): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to inspect the progress of ongoing projects in Prayagraj related to the Maha Kumbh and attend the convocation of Allahabad University during his visit on November 27. The Chief Minister will spend approximately four and a half hours in the city, also attending the Kumbh Conclave at MNNIT auditorium.

Following his participation in events at Allahabad University and MNNIT, the CM will visit the Sangam area, accompanied by the Deputy Chief Minister, the state Urban Development Minister, and the Industrial Development Minister.

According to the released itinerary, the chief minister will serve as the chief guest at the AU convocation for around an hour and a half. Afterward, he will address the Kumbh Conclave at MNNIT and visit the Nagvasuki temple. The CM will also inspect the Ganga River Front, including dredging work and pontoon bridges from Jhunsi Railway Bridge to Sangam, as well as the IIIIC site, the proposed venue for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's event on December 13.

In addition, the chief minister will inaugurate sanitation equipment, fire, water police, radio, and other equipment for the Maha Kumbh at the event venue, and watch a short film on 'Swachh Kumbh.' He will also inaugurate the newly constructed control room building at the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation.

In line with his vision for cleanliness at the Maha Kumbh, a new control room building has been constructed at a cost of INR 14 crore. The building will house the Solid Waste Control Room, Public Grievance Control Room, and the Prayagraj Smart City Office. The Solid Waste Control Room, the first of its kind in the state, will allow live monitoring of cleanliness efforts across the city through CCTV cameras. The Public Grievance Control Room will enable swift resolution of residents' complaints.

The newly constructed facility will serve as the operational hub for the Prayagraj Smart City Office.
