Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) [India], December 5 (HBTV): Aparajita Singh, Regional Tourism Officer of Prayagraj, announced on Thursday that Nishadraj Park, developed in two phases, will soon be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Shringverpur Dham, a historic town associated with Lord Ram, is poised to become a key center for rural, religious, and spiritual tourism in Uttar Pradesh ahead of Mahakumbh 2025.

Speaking to ANI, Aparajita Singh stated that a 52-foot-high statue of Lord Ram embracing Nishadraj has been installed.

'It is said that Lord Ram spent a night at Shringverpur Dham during his exile. We are developing Uttar Pradesh as a religious tourism destination. Nishadraj Park is being developed, and a 52-foot-high statue of Lord Ram embracing Nishadraj has been installed,' Singh said.

She further explained that 90 percent of the park's construction is complete.

'Under the first phase, a pedestal, gallery, and entrance parking have been constructed. The second phase includes a meditation center, caretaker room, cafeteria, children's play area, and open-air theater. Ninety percent of the construction is complete, and PM Modi will inaugurate the grand Nishadraj Park shortly,' she added.

The announcement aligns with broader tourism development efforts in Uttar Pradesh, including preparations for Mahakumbh 2025. These initiatives aim to enhance religious tourism infrastructure and provide world-class facilities to the expected influx of visitors.
