Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inaugurated the registration for plots in the Lucknow Development Authority’s Anant Nagar housing scheme, proposed on 785 acres along Mohan Road.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], April 23 (HBTV): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inaugurated the registration for plots in the Lucknow Development Authority’s Anant Nagar housing scheme, proposed on 785 acres along Mohan Road, at an estimated cost of INR 6,500 crore.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister congratulated the residents of Lucknow and said the double-engine government is committed to enhancing the ease of living.

‘After 20 years, on the launch of a new scheme equipped with modern facilities and an excellent action plan in Lucknow, I congratulate all residents of Lucknow... This is a commendable effort... The priority of the double-engine government is to enhance the ease of living,’ Adityanath said while addressing the media.

Sharing a message on social media platform X, he wrote that improving the ease of living and providing affordable housing remain the top priorities of the double-engine government.

Meanwhile, on April 3, the Chief Minister chaired a review meeting with elected representatives and officials at the Circuit seminar hall.

According to an official release, CM Adityanath instructed that all preparations for the proposed visit of the Prime Minister be completed on time. He emphasized that arrangements for the projects to be inaugurated or laid by the Prime Minister should be thoroughly executed. Taking cognizance of the land subsidence reported at certain locations on Namo Ghat, the Chief Minister ordered a quality check followed by immediate repair works.

He also directed officials to develop a comprehensive action plan for the beautification of the Varuna Riverfront and ensure that work progresses without delay.

As per the release, the Chief Minister visited the proposed venue for the Prime Minister’s event at Raja Talab in Mehndiganj and instructed authorities to ensure robust security measures and timely completion of preparations.

He stressed that attendees should not face any inconvenience and directed that adequate arrangements for drinking water, shade, mobile toilets, ORS packets, and other amenities be made. During the meeting, Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma briefed the Chief Minister on the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit and provided an update on the development projects scheduled for inauguration or foundation-laying.
