Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) [India], January 15 (HBTV): Mahakumbh 2025, under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, promises a host of exciting experiences for visitors, including a helicopter ride priced at just INR 1,296 per person, a significant reduction from the earlier fare of INR 3,000.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh announced that the seven-to-eight-minute helicopter ride would be launched digitally today. The ride offers a breathtaking aerial view of the sprawling Mahakumbh area and Prayagraj’s majestic landscape.
Bookings for the ride can be made online at www.upstdc.co.in and will be operated by Pawan Hans, a Government of India enterprise. Weather permitting, helicopters will operate continuously to ensure a memorable experience for visitors.
In addition to helicopter rides, the Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Department has arranged for water and adventure sports at designated locations within the Mahakumbh Mela area.
From January 24 to 26, a drone show, water laser show, and other thrilling activities are scheduled. Renowned artists from across the country will perform vibrant cultural shows at various stages in Prayagraj. Special programs marking UP Diwas will also be organized.
The Ganga Pandal will host a star-studded lineup of musical performances, starting with Bollywood singer Shankar Mahadevan on January 16. The grand finale performance will feature Mohit Chauhan on February 24, 2025. Throughout the event, several renowned artists across genres will perform from January 16 to February 24, 2025.
The main bathing rituals (Shahi Snan) of the Kumbh will take place on January 14 (Makar Sankranti), January 29 (Mauni Amavasya), and February 3 (Basant Panchami).
