New Delhi [India], April 8 (HBTV): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday met Asian Wrestling Championship gold medal winner Manisha Bhanwala, silver medalist Reetika Hooda, bronze medalist Muskan Nandal, and coach Mandeep. Olympic medalist and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Yogeshwar Dutt was also present.
Posting on his official X handle, CM Saini congratulated all the athletes on their victories and extended his best wishes for their future.

Wrestlers Manisha Bhanwala (62 kg) and Antim Panghal (53 kg) brought laurels to India by winning gold and bronze medals, respectively, in their categories at the Asian Wrestling Championships 2025 held in Amman, Jordan, on Friday, according to Olympics.com.
Manisha Bhanwala defeated the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's Ok J Kim 8–7 in the final, securing India's first women's freestyle wrestling gold medal at the continental meet since 2021. Having won three consecutive bronze medals at the Asian Championships from 2022 to 2024, she was trailing 2–7 in the final but made a stunning comeback to clinch gold.
Reigning U23 world champion Reetika Hooda secured a silver medal in the women’s freestyle 76 kg category. Muskan Nandal (59 kg), Mansi Lather (68 kg), and Greco-Roman wrestlers Nitesh (97 kg) and Sunil Kumar (87 kg) had earlier won bronze medals in the competition.
