Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], November 7 (HBTV): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday expressed his condolences on the demise of former Rajya Sabha MP Gopal Vyas. Gopal Vyas passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 90.

‘Our senior BJP family member, sharp thinker, social worker, and former Rajya Sabha MP Shri Gopal Vyas ji's demise is a great loss for all of us,’ Sai shared in a condolence message on X. ‘His simplicity and dedicated life for society will always be an inspiration for all of us,’ read the post.

The chief minister also paid floral tributes to the mortal remains of the former Rajya Sabha MP. He fondly recalled the time spent with the late BJP leader, stating, "Recently, I, along with the BJP national president, met him at his residence. At 90, he possessed the same determination and energy that we saw when we worked together."

Sai noted that Gopal Vyas was associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). In accordance with Vyas's wishes, his body was donated to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

‘His entire life was a message. We can honor his memory by taking inspiration from his life and following his path,’ CM Sai said.
