The Chhattisgarh government has established a new security camp named "Zidpalli 2" in the People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) core zone of Bijapur district's Zidpalli village.

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], December 7 (HBTV): The Chhattisgarh government has established a new security camp named "Zidpalli 2" in the People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) core zone of Bijapur district's Zidpalli village. The move is part of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai's flagship scheme, 'Niyad Nella Nar,' aimed at enhancing security, infrastructure, and public services in Maoist-affected areas.

Under the scheme, essential services such as medical care, ration outlets, schools, and electricity are being provided in insurgency-hit districts. Bijapur Police officials stated that the new camp would strengthen anti-Maoist operations, disrupt insurgent networks, and enhance security for local residents while facilitating access to government welfare schemes.

Additionally, the CRPF Medical Unit organized a health camp in the village, offering free medical services and distributing medicines.

Earlier on December 4, CM Sai reaffirmed the state’s commitment to combating Naxalism, highlighting the progress made in establishing peace in the Bastar region. He stated, ‘Since we came to power, our security forces have been fighting strongly against Naxalism... We are succeeding in establishing peace in Bastar.’

CM Sai is scheduled to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah on December 13-14 to brief him on the state’s anti-Naxal campaigns and ongoing development initiatives.
