Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], December 8 (HBTV): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai launched the 'Nikshay-Niramaya Chhattisgarh Abhiyan' aimed at eradicating diseases like tuberculosis, malaria, and leprosy from the state.
Speaking after the launch on Saturday, CM Sai emphasized that the 100-day campaign will strengthen the health department’s efforts to combat these diseases. He highlighted the government’s commitment to improving public health and praised the department's achievements, particularly in districts like Bastar.
As part of the campaign, the Chief Minister flagged off a mobile medical unit and promotional vehicle from the AIIMS campus in Raipur. The initiative will focus on identifying and treating individuals affected by tuberculosis, malaria, and leprosy through enhanced testing and treatment services.
The CMO Chhattisgarh shared on social media: ‘Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today flagged off a mobile medical unit and promotional vehicle under the Nikshay Niramay Chhattisgarh Abhiyan at AIIMS campus in Raipur. In this campaign, people suffering from diseases like TB and leprosy will be identified and provided with testing and treatment benefits.’
CM Sai expressed confidence that the state would benefit greatly from the campaign, helping to create a healthier Chhattisgarh.
