Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], December 5 (HBTV): Former Indian footballer Bhaichung Bhutia has expressed deep concern about the ongoing unrest in Manipur, urging the central and state governments to collaborate with local communities to restore peace.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Bhutia said, 'Whatever is happening in Manipur is very unfortunate. As a northeastern, it hurts us. We only hope and pray for peace to return. I hope the state and central governments work together with the community to bring back peace because that is the most important thing.'
