Kohima, Nagaland, September 5 (HBTV): The Department of School Education in Kohima organized the State Level Teachers' Day 2024 celebration at the NBCC Convention Hall. Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, advisor for School Education & SCERT was the special guest of the event.
During the event, Yhome emphasized the department’s dedication to revolutionizing education in Nagaland, focusing on nurturing resilience in students and addressing the state’s high dropout rate.
Fourteen teachers were honored with the teacher’s award during the event. The event also launched the Students' Health Card to monitor student well-being.
Further, Yhome also announced the implementation of the Teachers' Attendance Monitoring System across districts, aiming to improve the quality of education.
