Mokokchung, Nagaland, June 18 (HBTV): A 24-year-old resident of Marepkong Ward in Mokokchung has been reported missing since the night of June 8. A missing person report has been lodged with the Mokokchung Police Station.

The man has been identified as one Kotiba Sangtam. He was last seen by his elder brother on the night of June 8, updates said. He is said to be from Trongar village and is married to one Apok. They have a child. According to his wife, Kotiba has distinctive tattoos: one on his left hand and a star tattoo on his neck. On the night of his disappearance, he was wearing a black T-shirt and shorts.

According to reports, Sangtam’s mother reported that various groups including the ward youths and the Sangtam Union of Mokokchung have been searching for him. The family stated that he went missing between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM on June 8.

The missing person report was filed on June 12. Following this, the police issued a notice to all officers-in-charge of police stations and personnel in charge of check gates to aid in the search.
