Chumukedima, Nagaland, January 15 (HBTV): Meet 63-year-old Mark Bryan. He is neither gay nor a cross-dresser (at least in the strictest connotation of the word). He is a full-blooded, straight man who wears high heels and skirts, including mini-skirts and micro-minis to work.
Despite his fashion choices, Bryan is a heterosexual man who chooses skirts and heels over trousers for his day job. The robotics engineer’s wardrobe is reportedly 50% women's clothing, and he wears women’s skirts and heels regularly. According to Bryan, the only time he isn’t wearing heels is "on the football pitch."
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Bryan now lives in Crailsheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Bryan’s dress sense evolved after he became "bored" with traditional male clothing in 2015. His wife has been supportive of his choices and even helps him pick out outfits during their weekend shopping trips, as reported by Yahoo! News.
Bryan sees clothes as genderless, enjoying the freedom to wear both men’s and women’s clothes.
"I first started exploring my style when shopping with my wife. She suggested, 'Why don't we look at dresses and skirts?' After 20 years of wearing a suit and tie, I'd gotten bored. In June 2015, I started wearing high heels with pant suits into the office. I paired some red pumps with a red tie and never looked back," Bryan said.
Bryan identifies as a straight, cis man and emphasizes that his fashion choices are unrelated to his sexuality. "I love wearing what I wear."
Mark and his wife have been happily married for 11 years and reside in Crailsheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, with their children. His wife, who chose not to be named, shared, "Do I support Mark? Yes, of course. I think Mark would look amazing in anything, but he is my husband after all. He wears much higher heels than I do, but his legs look much better too."
