Washington [US], March 14 (HBTV): Rock band Oasis is set to release an accompanying film for their highly anticipated reunion tour, announced Sony Music.
The film will be produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, with Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace as directors. The duo previously directed Meet Me in the Bathroom, a documentary about the 2000s New York rock scene, and Shut Up and Play the Hits, a film about LCD Soundsystem, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
A release date has not yet been announced. Sony Music Vision will distribute the film, while Magna Studios is producing it. Magna has previously produced Beastie Boys Story and Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now.
Liam and Noel Gallagher have been on strained terms for years, making Oasis' reunion tour one of the most highly anticipated concert tours of 2025. The band is set to perform together for the first time since their 2009 breakup, which occurred just before a concert in Paris.
'This is it, this is happening,' the band posted on X (formerly Twitter) last August, announcing their comeback.
Oasis will begin their tour in Wales this July, followed by performances across England, Scotland, and Ireland. The North American leg will commence in Toronto, with US shows scheduled at Soldier Field in Chicago, the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The band will also perform two dates in Mexico City.
The tour will conclude with additional shows in England, followed by performances in South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, as per The Hollywood Reporter. (ANI)
