Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 14 (HBTV): On the eve of his 60th birthday on Thursday, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan surprised fans by introducing his new partner, Gauri Spratt, during an informal interaction with the media in Mumbai.

While speaking to reporters, Aamir confirmed that he is dating Gauri, who reportedly hails from Bengaluru.

Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. He later married director Kiran Rao in 2005, and the couple separated in 2021. Aamir and Kiran continue to co-parent their son, Azad.

During the press event, Aamir also discussed his upcoming projects, revealing his passion for adapting the epic Mahabharat into a film.

'We are just starting with the writing process. We are putting together a team...so let's see how that goes,' he said.

Aamir will turn 60 on Friday, which coincides with the Holi festival this year.

On Wednesday night, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were spotted arriving at Aamir's residence. Shah Rukh avoided the paparazzi by staying behind his security, while visuals captured Salman exiting Aamir's house alongside him.

In the coming months, Aamir will be seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, which is expected to feature Genelia in a pivotal role. (ANI)
